  • Advising a Russian subsidiary of one of Europe’s largest industrial companies in drafting and concluding supply and construction contracts required for operation of production facilities of Phosphorit Industrial Group, Rusal-Sayanal and Severstal, as well as representing the client in a number of commercial disputes with Russian industrial companies.
  • Advising Avalon Estate consulting firm on various transaction structuring schemes for acquisition and disposal of real estate assets in terms of tax implications analysis and tax risk minimisation. The client’s average deal price is RUB 1bn.
  • Advising on building a federal chain of sports studios based on the franchise model.
  • Participation in building court practice to recover losses in the form of the exchange rate difference due to the high volatility of the rouble.
  • Representing a general contractor in a series of complex disputes worth about RUB 300 m concerning performance of a contract for construction of Kresty-2, Europe’s largest penitentiary institution.
