Qualification and expertise

Natalia has more than 10 years’ experience working as a lawyer. Since 2015, Natalia heads the Private Wealth Practice that provides services to private clients and high net-worth individuals. Natalia’s experience in advising organisations on their legal matters helps her to quickly identify problems and available options for private clients, the majority of who are business owners or top managers in Russia or overseas.

Key recent projects

Succession planning for a business owner, including structuring family assets for the purpose of inheritance, assisting with transaction involving personal assets for the purpose of succession planning, analysing legal documentation of companies owned by the client.
Advising a private client leading business in agritourism and property in a variety of jurisdictions on matters of international tax planning. Specialists from Maxima Legal, coordinated by Natalia, developed a structure of ownership of the assets (property, financial assets, among others) for the purpose of tax optimisation taking into account the interests of the client, his children and legislative requirements of Russia, Austria, Romania, Malta and the UK.
Advising a Russian resident on a wide range of currency control and tax matters relating to the client holding overseas bank accounts.
Advising a private client on the procedure of inheriting shares in a company registered in the BVI, including when the client is the sole beneficiary of the company.
On a pro bono basis, represented the interests of the well-known Russian rock group DDT in a landmark dispute with the Governor of Bryansk Region.
